Differentiating the Content
Essentially, the differentiation of content deals with what students are learning about and where they are in readiness and understanding in relation to that content. A complex interplay of factors influences a student’s learning. Knowing our students as learners is paramount if we are to reach all learners and maximize their learning. The choice and range of approaches to content and relevant instructional strategies are then organized to cater for student readiness, interest and learning profile. In this Learning Space we encounter and apply the what, why, when and how of differentiating content. Beyond the learning space, one hour of one-to-one coaching focused entirely on your work is included.
