Differentiating the Product
Differentiate the content? Yes. Differentiate the process? Yes. But why the product? If the product is about students demonstrating and extending what they know, understand and can do as a result of a period of learning, and if we believe that students come to us ‘differentiated’ in the first place – with interests, readiness, learning preferences as varied as the extent of combinations of factors, then differentiating the product is as relevant as the content and process. In this Learning Space our attention is focused on what guides the differentiation of product and how it can be achieved, including practical application and feedback.
