Igniting the Fire Within
Getting in touch with that inner spark in our students raises a series of questions: what is normal? What does it mean to learn? How do individuals learn? What helps individuals learn best? What can be done to help those who struggle? All of these questions have implications for student engagement, or switching on to learning. And not much quality learning is going to happen without engagement. Different learners, different minds…if we acknowledge that each learner is unique, then that, too, has implications for learning. In this Learning Space we will be exploring the underpinnings of engagement to make those connections, and along the way developing the skills, ways and means to ignite those fires.
