Inclusive Respectful Classrooms
Living effectively in a pluralistic society requires a relevant depth of knowledge, skills and values. Our classrooms are communities where students from a diverse range of backgrounds come together to learn every day. Celebrating this inherent richness means implementing culturally responsive pedagogies, recognizing the importance of including students’ cultural, linguistic and religious backgrounds in all aspects of learning. This Learning Space explores what respectful, inclusive classrooms look, sound and feel like as well as the thinking that is underpinning and weaving them together.
